"Did we... Er? You know..." He laughed nervously, trying hard to make eye contact but caving at the last second in favour of staring at the ceiling.
"Yes Mister Paris..." Janeway replied, rising to her full height and watched painfully as Tom's eyes finally drifted down her body to the swell of her pregnant stomach, "...We did."
What if Janeway was still pregnant when the Doctor turned her back to human again? What if they never abandoned the lizard children? What if Tom Paris is just a little bit in love with his boss? A story which started off as something silly to celebrate my first ever Threshold day which has evolved (pun intended) into something a little deeper.
