The stale air of the courtroom felt suffocating to Liam. This wasn't a pleasant place, Liam thought, slightly sardonically. Let alone when you're the one on trial, over some bogus, antiquated rule in the UCMJ. He had never felt so under siege, like everything around him would crumble and collapse.
Or: Sergeant Sullivan is court-martialled and put on trial for being gay, shortly after the events of Season 1. Set in an alternate universe where he *doesn't* smash a guy's head in with a glass, but still disappears into the swamp over fear of the investigation into him re his homosexuality and being connected to Wilkinson.
