His thumb slowly, almost weightlessly, traced the line of Dex's jaw. The skin here was smooth, with a light stubble, prickly to the touch. Dex's heart skipped another beat.
or Dex's bullet wound is on his back, so in order for Matt to heal it, he has to touch a particularly sensitive spot on Dex's spine
