Summary
Sixteen years have passed since the Krang attempted to invade the earth.
Sixteen years since Casey Jones was catapulted back through time, unceremoniously ripped away from everything and everyone he knew and loved.
But he did it.
He found the key, stopped the Krang, and... well, what else was there to do but try and move forward?
He'd adjusted, he'd acclimated, he'd seen every single Lou Jitsu and Jupiter Jim film multiple times over, he'd made a life for himself with the Mad Dogs.
Casey Jones was... content. That was a sufficient word. Things were great, actually, he should be happy. But the overwhelming losses he'd suffered seemed to linger no matter how much therapy Dr. Feelings administered, leaving a gaping chasm inside him.
It took a while to adjust to his new reality, living alongside oh-so-slightly different versions of the people he knew, having to reconcile with the notion that some people from his past might not exist at all and lived only in his memories. He still struggled with it sometimes, holding onto the slim hope that, by some miracle, those people would come into existence in this timeline anyway.
Casey Jones was more than a little haunted.

An Alternate Ending in which Casey isn't the one who goes back to the past.
▻ How could they ever survive without Leo? He left them. He just... Left them. And Casey got sloppy in the absence of his sensei. The price is a steep one and he's not the only one who has to pay it.◅
