You still don’t quite understand how you ended up here.
Here, miles away from home, in a half-frozen NATO-KorTac “joint operations facility,” which is really just a polite way of saying diplomatic hostage situation with central heating. Officially, the mission’s about some sort of prototype black box that went missing, taking a few dozen classified bodies with it. But that really isn't your problem. Not now, anyways.
No, your problem is that you’re surrounded by the kind of men who start wars for fun, make smuggling rings look like charity work, and have the emotional depth and expression of a cucumber. There's already enough tension between these two groups.
And yet, as much as you try and deny it, you can't help but feel a tension of a whole other kind beginning to brew up in these cramped halls.Fuck your life.
