Ya no distingue entre la realidad y las invenciones de su cabeza, lo tiene enfrente todo el tiempo, le oye hablar, soltando las estupideces que solía decir en cada reunión, puede sentirlo incluso, tocando sus hombros o acariciando su espalda con sarcástica sensualidad, aún sabiendo lo que sucedió aquel día.
Es obvio que Charlie lo sabe, es obvio que está preocupada, pero él no tiene ni la menor idea de cómo explicarle lo que fue, lo que es y lo que pudo haber sido, no cuando se trata de el hombre que intentó matarla.

Lunar Festival Days 2-4 Prompts: Dancing, Hand Holding, and Lantern
If Adam had known millennia ago that when he’d refused to eat the fruit of knowledge his “reward” would be to shepherd human souls to their ultimate resting places for eternity, he would have eaten the damn fruit.
Apparently he had been “so good” and set such a great example for the rest of humanity that he was the perfect candidate for delivering souls.
It was fucking bullshit.
Being forced to traverse Heaven and Hell for all eternity is a killer for one’s personal life, yet somehow Adam finds himself friends (and more) with two demon overlords and the King of Hell.
