Kiryu's real estate business is growing, but the overhead costs are still leaving him too far in the red. He needs more capital, and he knows exactly who to go to for an extra infusion of much-needed cash. Of course, this new investment will come with a price, but it isn't one that Kiryu has any reservations about paying...

“I’m going to walk you through my whole routine so that there are no surprises. And if you tell me to stop halfway through, I’ll do it immediately. Okay?” Makoto says.
“Okay,” says Majima.
*Kiryu lies shirtless and face down on a massage table. Majima leers over him. “You’re gonna love this, Kiryu-chan,” he says gleefully.
The corner of Kiryu’s mouth ticks up in a smile. “Will I?” he asks.
*One massage in the past, and one in the present. Some musings on reclaiming your sexuality and letting heavy things go.

Summary
The guy at the bar next to him—the kid, he couldn't have been far past his teens—was wearing a garish white suit and white shoes. He had a straight nose and a jawline like a knife’s edge, long eyelashes and big, dark eyes. Majima looked him up and down and sneered. Leave some for the rest of us, would ya?

Summary
“You’ve never kissed a girl, have you, Ichi?”
Ichi’s stare goes from him to Akiko on his lap, and back, and again, but it’s Jo he looks at when he shakes his head. Good.
"Why don't you have a go?" Jo suggests airily, running his fingers through Akiko’s hair. She’s sweating bullets, poor thing. He doesn't miss the way her cheeks flush, though.
He’s doing him a favor, Jo decides. In the good spirit of Christmas. And if making Ichi suffer happens to be one of his favorite hobbies, well, it’s only incidental.

Summary
He waves a hand in the direction of Kiryu’s voice, staring up at the sky. Majima tells him, “Don’t be. If I didn’t have anythin’ guidin’ me I think I’d really go crazy.” He hears Kiryu make a quiet noise in his throat. Majima lolls his head over to look at him. The final wash of golden daylight touches his face like he’s been chosen by some divine force. He smiles. “Besides, Kiryu-chan,” he says, “If you’re the one holdin’ the leash, I don’t think I mind.”

Summary
“Can ya do red instead?” he asks suddenly, feeling a little bit bold; a little bit nostalgic; a lotta bit devil-may-care because who the fuck’s gonna know, huh. Something for himself.
The sweet girl looks delighted, covering her soft mouth with a delicate hand when she giggles. “You bet. Fire engine? Cherry?”
“Candy-apple,” he says without hesitation. “If ya got it.”
And that's how Majima leaves the salon: black dress socks and steel-tipped snakeskin shoes donned once more over color flashy and striking, carefully applied across ten toes.
in which y0 Majima dares to indulge, and it turns out poorly and also good(?)

Summary
"You should come up," Sagawa tells him. Not so far off from the bar, they've come to a halt in front of an apartment complex, not a hotel, though he'd told him he's here on business.
"I ain't full service," Majima says bluntly. He'd anticipated this. Sagawa hasn't touched him once, and he doesn't seem lonely enough to pay for a little conversation. He doesn't seem lonely at all. It's uncommon quality to have in Kamurocho, though he sounds like he's from Osaka, the loneliness of which Majima is uncertain of.
Having escaped from Shimano's custody, Majima takes up a side job to make ends meet.

The man in the burgundy pinstripes surely isn't Oda, who's been dead now for twenty-one years. He's just a little bit like Oda, enough so that sluggishly, Tachibana's brain suddenly and uncommonly brings him to its forefront, how the line of his body looked as he'd leaned against a bar.
In 2009, Tetsu Tachibana sees a ghost.

Summary
“What, no meet-cute first date stories to share? No sharin’ an umbrella or flirtin’ over shogi matches?” Majima frowns, then shifts into a smarmy grin. “Or did ya hook up at a leather club or somethin’~?”
Very carefully, and very purposefully, Nishiki keeps his expression neutral. He will not rise to the bait. He will not defend himself, because that’s giving away information, and he will not correct the story, because that’s also giving away information.
“If that’s what you want to believe.”
How they started dating is banal enough. It’s the lead up to it that’s the issue.
If it’d been something as comparatively respectable as running into each other at a leather club and hitting it off, that would have been less embarrassing. He might have been willing to admit to that. Not to Majima, but to some currently non-existent, hypothetical person who wanted to know.
The truth of it he intends to take to his grave.
