Summary
Pre-movie Megamind ends up in Worm slightly before canon. Originated on SB.
For the avoidance of doubt, this is not a Megamind stomps the worm-verse story. Don't get me wrong, there will be stomping. But if you come in here expecting him to sweep away everyone in Brockton, effortlessly defeat all the endbringers, and make Cauldron look like fools you will be disappointed. Megamind is a genius. There aren't many problems he cannot solve. He is also, without a doubt, a screw-up. Don't believe me? Watch the movie again. He's a failure. And you know what? I think that's the best thing about him. That he fails and fails and yet he always gets back up. Sometimes he needs some help, who of us can say they don't? But, in the end, he gets up. He learns. He tries. He grows. That's what this story is. The story of Megamind finding his way in Worm and slowly growing into what he never thought he could be, a hero. Albeit, a hero with an orbital death laser. Which, IMO, that's the best kind.

I wrote this around Halloween in an attempt to kickstart my muse for TTBN, and thought it'd be nice if people got to enjoy it. Don't expect regular updates, if any, but I might swing back to this when my brain leans that way.

When the woman was four blocks away, she stopped running and looked up at Batwoman and Black Bat on the roof, the wisps of the black cloud that had been surrounding her dissipating in an instant. The three woman were motionless, staring at each other. Batwoman broke the silence, muttering quietly. "What the hell? There's no way she spotted us, it's a new moon." Black Bat's hand drifted towards her grappling hook and the woman suddenly took off down a side alley, away from the two of them.
Skitter gets transported to Gotham after Gold Morning, and has to deal with a new city, and the new heroes and villains that reside there.

Or, Taylor reawakens a portion of her soul that remembers being called worthless and a waste. She's not actually a fan of jumping off cliffs completely naked, but hey, at least he had style in getting away from his bullies. And really, it'd be a waste for an entire world to go without a hint of cultivation or the use of spiritual energy. Those kind of OP abilities open up so, so many new paths.
