And then he keeps ending up in strangers beds, hands roaming over his skin, mind fogged up and blissfully empty, searching and searching for a contentment he knows he’ll never find there.
After, sometimes he’ll stand in the shower and scrub at his skin until it’s pink, but he can never really get rid of the feeling of hands all over him, crawling into his skin. Other times he can barely stand to be under the water, mind flashing back to being stuck in a raging flood, unable to breathe.
(He ends up going to the bar again that night.)
