Summary
This takes place after the disastrous dinner, in which instead of following the rats she gets manages to get the pieces of the vision again and while the rest of her family in a frenzy dealing with the Guzmáns she quickly packs a bag of things and escaped via her window. She runs away, not very sure where she was heading, but eventually, she ends up in another town and gets herself a few jobs with the skills she had learned to get her family's attention. Most of the things that happen in the movie, happens after she leaves just a bit more quickly. After the anger had simmered down, the Madrigal's realized Mirabel was missing and were determined to get her back, after a bit of introspection that is. And Casita? Casita was not pleased with any of the Madrigals, not even in the slightest.

Summary

On darker days, Mirabel thinks this is true but on others, she hopes that nothing is beyond repair.

Summary

She climbs through the mountain and makes it to the other side. The town there is like a fresh of breath air, a relief from Casita and magic and the Madrigals.
And she never comes back. . .

It’s also been ten years on the dot that the sweet little girl that was his niece was taken after a little incident at her door ceremony.
With the family distraught and left to pieces, it’s up to two unlikely candidates to try and piece together a fable locked from their knowledge and to possibly bring their family home.
Just one slight issue - neither of them could care less of the whole ‘saving their family’ part of that mission.

She was okay. She still coughed flowers and she essentially stopped talking at all, the vines, roots and thorns still dug at her skin like razor blades everytime she tried to speak. She would still spit blood with petals whenever she coughed and wasn't able to eat much solid food due to the small cuts the thorns caused in her throat. However… It was getting better. At least that's what everyone said.
