Summary
He sighed with consternation as he was proven right. Another horse, clearly faster, had taken the lead. He was about to cross his arms and wait for the inevitable loss of money when he spotted the number.
“No…” he breathed, not believing his eyes. Rubbing them, he refocused his sight on the screen to check if his brain wasn’t deceiving him. Indeed, he realized with numb euphoria, it was not.
Number four had been overtaken by none other than nine.
Gi-hun's restaurant is failing. A wealthy, enigmatic stranger offers to help him out.

Summary
Seong Gihun was once an ordinary man living in debt. After winning a death game and winning 45.6 billion won as the only survivor, he lived with the guilt and trauma for an entire year. No matter what he did, the memories stayed inside of his mind. Soon enough, he accepted that he would never be able to live without his sins. However, when he saw the familiar Salesman offer the same game to another stranger, he changed his mind.
Vowing to stop the games that he once won, Gihun finds himself in unexpected circumstances and heartbreaking revelations. There was much more to the games than he thought. The only ally he had left was the untrusting Hwang Junho, the younger brother of the game's new mastermind.
(repost because the author is a dumb idiot who can't even do anything on her own)

Summary
"All of them..?"
"Well, not all of them if you can't. Just the ones that haunt you the most. Start with them."
---------------------
Basically, Gi-hun starts seeing a therapist after he gets fed up with the fact that he keeps hearing and seeing the other contestants in his dreams.
He couldn't tell her about the games, of course. We all saw what happened the last time he did. So he just tells her that he watched people die and allowed her to assume he served in the army.
She recommends he write letters to those who plagued his memories. He does.
(takes place some time before he decides to book a ticket to LA)

Summary
Suddenly, Junho is falling, fading, darkness seeping into his vision as his body turns to lead, and a jolting impact sends him into oblivion.
Junho lives, and what happens after.
A deeper dive into the mindset of some characters (inho and junho specifically) I find very fascinating, and because I refuse to accept the fact that my sweaty squid game baby is dead bc we all know that getting shot in the shoulder + falling of a cliff doesn't mean squat in a kdrama.
