Pete and Lucius are going to get married.
Pete and Lucius are going to get married.
Pete and Lucius are going to stand up in front of all of their friends and exchange rings and kiss and stuff. And maybe Blackbeard will come up to Lucius after and give him a little elbow in the ribs and say “good thing you got to him before I did” before winking and walking off. And yeah, Pete and Lucius aren’t monogamous, but Pete is pretty sure Stede wouldn’t be able to handle his boyfriend having mindblowing sex with another man, so he would never actually make a move or anything, even if Blackbeard was interested. Because he’s a really insightful and sensitive guy who’s in tune with his feelings, just like Blackb—Ed is now.
The point is, Pete and Lucius are going to get married, and Stede and Ed are going to officiate, and Fang will be both their best man (even though Ed will probably be really disappointed about it, but he gets to officiate at least), and it’s gonna be perfect.
Pete’s so fucking excited for how incredibly perfect his and Lucius’s wedding is going to be, he can barely stand it.
Now all he needs to do is propose.

"D’you need any help, love?" Stede asks. "Would you like me to touch you? Or just, hold you?"
"Mmm. Yeah."
"Which one, darling?"
Ed peaks over his shoulder. "Second one. The uh… the hold one."
He looks cautious, like he’s not sure he’s allowed to have this. It’s awakening something in Stede... the same something he gets with babies and small animals, where he wants to cry and swaddle them in every possible comfort and also explode. He doesn’t, though. Just, absoooorbs the energy back into himself, like some kind of Buddhist monk, and says, "Of course.'"

Set early post-S2. Stede wakes up to find Ed touching himself. Cue earnest, emotional sex.
