“…Scythe.”
Just then, she could hear Medkit’s slightly gruff voice… breaking slightly, her gloved hands… shuddering… as she lifted them to Scythe’s damp face, holding them there for a moment as Scythe’s face twisted into that of confusion while attempting to read the other inphernal’s facial features… Regret, sympathy… No, Empathy? Almost like Medkit had understood the agony she was going through. Scythe’s mind was trying so desperately to click the pieces together.
“…Aha... I look a damn proper mess, don’t I?”

Scythe is struggling heavily with the loss of Banhammer, someone she thought was close to her, someone she thought loved her, partially spurred on by her inability to keep close relationships, among other things. She’s not sure where she should end or begin, emotions whipping around in the wind, swallowing her whole. Little does she know, someone unexpected has gone through a similar pain.
Alternatively, a vaguely lesbian kind-of situationship with Banhammer destroys Scythe, Medkit comforts her as much as she can based on her own experiences.

“The family ain’t that bad, ‘Kit. We jus’ tryna help ya!”
Scythe stepped towards the doctor, reaching his hands out towards him with a forced, nervous smile. That smile only made Medkit feel angrier, he felt resentful towards the Church and everything about it, especially Broker and Overseer. Those two made his life a living hell. Medkit had a scowl present on his face, his glare not lessening one bit as the other tried to pacify him. He wasn’t going to allow himself to be manipulated by ANYONE ever again.
“It IS a cult. No one is allowed to leave, and if someone manages to somehow escape this hellhole; they need to be killed.”
Medkit snapped, stepping away and creating distance between himself and the outlaw. He was just so angry, he was so tired of being constantly used. He was so done with it. Scythe’s smile faded at the outburst, he stepped back as well. For once, Scythe felt uncertain and… almost worried, not about himself but for the doctor. He began to open his mouth to try and persuade the doctor further but Medkit interrupted before he could get a word in.
“No. Save it. If you’re truly trying to ‘help’ me as you say you are, then you would keep your mouth shut. Goodbye, Scythe.”
