Summary
Strong arms locked around Till, holding him back, but the insanity came in violent spasms. He needed to hear his voice again. Sickness festered in his gut until it coursed through his constricted throat; it burned as his voice clawed out. “I…van…”
His hand lashed out again, viciously pointing, panic boiling in his chest. “Iva…n.”
✿ Or: Eight years after the Alien Stage was blown up, Till has found some semblance of peace with the rebels. But, of course, fate decides to fuck with him. He searches for Ivan.

Summary
The red of Dan Heng’s marriage robes gleamed up at Ren in the low light of their bedchambers, tempting, tempting. They had only said their vows hours before. Ren had been unable to tear his gaze away from his now-wife’s pretty eyes, grey like stone and blue as the ocean. The color of salt-tumbled sea glass and warning storm clouds. The color suited him. He was dangerous, deadly, and sharp- yet he softened for Ren’s touches. He never cut the other man on his jagged edges.
“May I consummate our marriage, beloved?” Ren dragged his gaze back up to Dan Heng’s eyes. “May I have you?

Summary
Ren intones so sacredly the young priest imagines feeling his rasping voice on his neck. “And I cannot feel more sanctified and blessed than when I think of you, bare and willing, praying my name and scraping your knees for me as if I were your divine, Father.”
Dan Heng knows his inhale is loud. Between his legs and in the pit of his stomach, he turns into a funeral pyre, purging any uncleanliness he possesses—though it only worsens, he feels his chastity palpitate. “You speak of blasphemy.”
or, Ren is a serial murderer with an obsessive fancy for the local priest, and Dan Heng is a dutiful godly servant with one too many unholy thoughts for a sinner; they find religion together.

Summary
Even at the alter, General Ren does not smile. His expressionless gaze is cast on their joined hands instead as if it offends him. He does not lift his gaze until they rise from a deep bow, deeper than Dan Heng has ever had to in his life and it is for a man who has slain thousands of his people.
His smile slips when their eyes meet, a clash of green and red so vivid the world comes to a standstill to this single point in time.
After six years on the battlefield, Dan Heng meets defeat in the face of his consort.
~
In the aftermath of a bloody war, the way to a lasting peace treaty comes in the form of marriage; generals of their respective armies would be offered as consorts for the heirs of their nations. In the name of peace, Dan Heng reluctantly accepts the show of goodwill but seeing an enemy as a friend is no easy task.
It quickly becomes clear that his own people would sooner seek vengeance for their losses than to accept this political power play, even at the cost of their prince's life.

Summary
It’s been years since Dan Heng last stepped on stage and felt the heat of blinding stage lights, the exhilaration that comes with an audience chanting your name and headbanging to your songs – and good riddance. Losing all that isn’t on the list of his regrets. He’s fought to keep that part of his life in the past, and, if not happy, he’s at least content.
That is, until the biggest regret in his life catches up with him on six-inch heels, clad in black latex and wearing heavy stage makeup.
