Summary
Grian is an avian - he is also training to become a watcher. When he is finally assigned to his first mission, he gets injured and has to be nursed by none other than the hermits themselves.

Summary
Grian needed help. He knew this. Was he going to go get help? No. He was the new guy in the group. He didn’t want to be seen as weak. He didn’t want to be treated like some dumb kid that couldn’t take care of himself. Besides, who knew what would happen if something was permanently damaged. If he was seen as a burden, as someone who slowed the group down, he may be killed.
And even if one of his wings was trailing behind him, unable to be lifted, he’d be fine by himself. Even if said wing was hanging off his shoulder in an unnatural, painful way, he could handle it alone. He always had.
