Summary
“What did you mean?” Amagai changes his question suddenly, turning to a different subject before Ryo can adjust. “When you said you wanted to enjoy that view together? That day?”
Ryo stops, mouth dry as he pauses to register the question.
Amagai continues anyway, his gentle grip gone as he pushes his thumbnail into the seam of his scar, as though trying to dig through the months-since healed wound. It’s worse that he seems entirely unconscious of his movements as he does so. As though it’s wired into him to hurt Ryo.
“I know you said I didn’t remember,” Amagai says, “But I want to. Tell me.”
Amagai always pushes Ryo to the edge, but he still can't help but to run back every single time. This instance escalates dramatically, and Ryo doesn't think he can force himself to his feet anymore.

“Why were you guys attacked?” He questions in something alike glee, apparently not seeing the immediate severity of the situation, crouching down to Yosuke’s level as he speaks.
Yosuke—he can’t do anything more than stare back. Blood runs down his cheek where it’s slowly dripped over his closed eye and stopped clinging to his eyelashes. He tries to push himself to stand again but hisses as his side twinges with pain.
Murayama’s smile slowly drops. There’s a chill settling in the air—or Yosuke’s imagining it. He shivers regardless.
