Meanwhile, Leia Organa's trip to that same planet to visit her family's vacation home is abruptly shattered when her ship and security unit are attacked.
And Luke Skywalker just wanted to take a fun trip off-planet for once in his life, only for it to go very badly wrong.

Summary
Waiting for Luke above Endor, Vader thinks that all is lost. His son will come to face Palpatine, and either Vader or Luke will die. His dreams for his family are dead.

Together, with Vader's inside knowledge, they begin the inklings of the Rebellion. Several years pass and Vader and an eight year old Luke crash land on Tatooine during what was supposed to be a casual flying lesson.
