In his dreams, you live together, laugh over coffee. In reality, he’s alone in hotel rooms, sketching you from memory and wondering if he’s losing his grip on what’s real.
Across the country, you’re waking up from the same dreams, brushing them off as an unhealthy Hyunjin bias. You’re self-aware enough to recognize it’s a problem but not ready to give it up.

It is easier to reject people before they reject you, when you are very obviously Gotoro and a war's been off and on for as long as even your father can remember. Samira comes into Stardew Valley the way she enters every new space: ready to throw down. No one's going to hurt her. They won't get close enough.
Sam is keeping it together. No problem. He can take care of his brother and his mom and still have his own fun, and it doesn't matter when his dad is coming back, if he ever is, because Sam has it totally covered. It's fine.
