After Sunny moves away, Aubrey and Basil realize the only thing keeping them from ripping each other to shreds is their sense of self-preservation.
Now that prom's coming up, they're are given a final chance to ruin each other's lives and claim a crown(?), or some kind of victory medal(?), or okay, maybe like a cash prize(?) for their conquest. Maybe they also kiss kiss fall in love in an unbelievably dangerous way, but hey! Things have to burn to start anew.

Summary
After moving away from Faraway, Sunny learns what it feels like to heal. Old untreated wounds he’d ignored for so long had come crawling back to him like the shadows that danced the walls of his room, begging for his attention. And when his concerned friends had confronted him, he was given an ultimatum: swallow the bitter medicine or spit it back out.
Beautiful flowers and meadows can burn in unfortunate accidents, ash being the one thing left in its wake. That ash, no matter how hard one barters, can’t be turned back to what it once proudly was. It’s hard to accept that some things just can’t be saved. But perhaps… perhaps they can be. If one clings to hope, a bright phoenix has the chance of rising from what was once ruined.
In spite of everything, Sunny swallows the medicine.
(Basically Sunny gets diagnosed with schizophrenia and has to learn how to cope with it. He revisits his small suburb town for spring break to surprise his friends. He hopes he can make up for all the memories he missed out on, and intends to mend what he’s left broken. Post-Good Ending.)

TLDR; BadEnding!Sunny goes to OMARI Alternate Universe
After SUNNY jumps off the roof of the hospital building, he wakes up back in the past on the day of the incident. Not wanting to repeat the same mistake he did last time, he manages to save MARI and change everything, going into a coma for six years. MARI blames herself and becomes a reclusive shut-in with her own mental trauma of the event. Eventually, SUNNY wakes up to find himself in a different reality than the one he's familiar with, and will have to deal with a sister who's still alive but dealing with her own guilt and suffering from the incident that ruined both of their lives.
Friends are similar, with minor differences. BASIL seems much healthier in this reality, but is he really?
Once everything is over, will SUNNY find the strength to forgive himself for the sins he committed in the previous reality.

Summary
The thirty-fifth edition of Captain Spaceboy is one that lived in infamy within Kel's heart. It revolved around the Mercury Retrograde getting stranded amidst an asteroid field after running out of fuel; Spaceboy had left the safety of the ship himself to try and find a source of energy on one of the asteroids, hopefully to return with enough power to steer the ship out of harm's way.
However, a space storm had hit at the same time without warning, glitching Spaceboy's navigation and causing him to get lost. In his attempts to get back to safety, he stumbled upon a wormhole, getting trapped within. He was spat out on the other side and found that it had brought him back in time, of all things. Finding himself with the opportunity to change the wrongs of his past, the edition explored his moral dilemma as he tried to decide whether he even had the right to rewrite history, or if his obligation to the not-yet-existing crew took more priority.

Polly since finished her nursing course but was employed to care for Basil whilst his parents were away, and when she eventually got indoctrinated into the group, everyone was ready to put a lid on it, and to move forward, together and stronger. But this pain isn't something you can just run away from.
