Lazy summer afternoons are meant to be wasted. Retro games and box fans don't do much to deter some good old-fashioned bad luck, though.

Veteran Grizzco employees know better than to take a Salmon Run shift past midnight. It doesn't stop two of them from clocking in, alone together on a 2 AM shift at Sockeye Station. Somehow, they didn't see this coming.

Wes was a cursed child.
A dark, gritty Pokémon Colosseum AU, where Wes never left Snagem, the region was never saved from Cipher's first onslaught, and the desert winds are howling. This is a story about the making of monsters.

Summary
If one suspects strangers of causing the apocalypse, one generally should not allow them to continue to roam free. They should ideally be restrained until their innocence (or guilt) can be proven. Even if one of them is a child and openly sobbing at the thought of her only family hating her. Even if the other one's absence is probably going to be noticed by a very large, very dangerous Pokémon.
Elsewhere, the rift spits out a man in white. He's not her Warden, but Sneasler will take all the help she can get in finding him.

Summary
"And then there's a customized copy of PONY PALS, a gift to you on your 14th birthday from the slippery Mr. Strider. Each page contains lovingly hand-written commentary on the deeds of this intrepid young horse. Later, about halfway through the book, rather than see the gag through to the bitter end, Strider began pasting over entire pages of original text with his own completely rewritten version of the story, while keeping all the chapter titles. His revision is a tough, emotionally draining read. But it's cathartic, in all the worst ways possible.
He tends to get carried away with his projects."Note: this work is an altered book, and it plays on the physical relationship between the original pages and the edited text. As such, it's presented as a series of images. Reading the images is the only way to get the full experience, but I'm aware that some people can't/don't want to read it that way. So if that's the case, you can skip to chapter 13, which is a text-only version of the story, including rough descriptions of the most important illustrations.
