This is a prequel to my "Home" series which takes place a few decades earlier. This story focuses on the relationship and romance of Jiraya and Orochimaru spanning decades, starting from the time Orochimaru left Konoha, covering how Jiraiya went on a journey to get Orochimaru back to them eventually becoming the power couple in "Home". ^ ^ It can be read as a standalone series from Home.

小李， 你说过你一定会等我的，你答应过我的事你不会食言吧?
身为风影的他和成为上忍的小李已经不能再像以前一样随意的见面了。一年一度的中忍大会是身为风影的我爱罗和木叶上忍的小李唯一能够名正言顺在一起的时候，所以小李就答应他每年的这个时候，他无论如何都一定会呆在木叶等着他，哪儿也不会去。为此他还特地申请成为中忍的主考官之一，目的就是希望借此能免于在大会的其间离开村子去执行任务。几年下来他们都是这样见面的。时间虽然短暂，但却是非常充实和快乐的。
可是今年却完全不见了小李的踪影。
因为无论如何他还是想见上他一面，就算只是几分中，他也心满意足了。
Gaara and Lee are in a long-distance relationship. Due to their respective duties - Gaara as Kazekage and Lee as a Konoha Shinobi - they are unable to meet as frequently as they like to. As a result, the annual chunin selection exams held in Konoha became an event where they can officially spend time with each other. However, this year Lee was nowhere to be found in Konoha, despite promising Gaara that he will be there.

Summary
"Home" 是个 半架空，主卡带、副自蛇，我李等配对CP的一个系列同人文。总得来说 HOME （正文）是讲述卡卡西和带土的故事，而 "Home之自蛇番外篇系列：<执著>" 则是 "Home" 的前章，发生在Home数十年前的事，讲述的是自蛇的罗曼史。
因为是好几年前就开始动笔的文，所以随着火影的故事发展和完结，这原本设定为是半架空的文就完完全全地变成AU文了。请大家注意一下。这系列的主要CP配对是卡带，副自蛇和我李，其中也会出现一些BG的CP如鹿丸x手鞠
[HOME]这个系列可以说是我在网上发表过的第一篇同人文，所以一直以来对我而言存在着特别的意义。虽然也是坑得最久也最深的文也就是了。因为 LOFTER 那因为大家都明白的因素，所以陆续把文搬来这。

"Home" is an alternate universe series, sort of a "what-if" story depicting how if certain events or choices had not played out the way they did in the original canon, things and relationships would have been different. The "Home" main CP are Kakashi and Obito; Jiraiya and Orochimaru; Gaara and Lee among others.

"Polly,” she gasps, looking over his shoulder at Klavier. Her eyes flick from his to Klavier’s in rapid succession. “You know,” she whispers conspiratorially, “when I said you needed to make some new friends, I didn’t expect you’d go so far as to get a boyfriend.”
Apollo’s brain short-circuits. But Trucy’s already continuing, head tilted to the side thoughtfully: “Though I guess it’s been a long time coming. I’m just glad me and Athena could be that push you guys needed!”
“Trucy,” Apollo hisses, “it’s not—”
“Oh, I know,” Trucy waves her hand dismissively. The gesture doesn’t match her wide, uninhibited grin. At normal volume, she says, “I’ll leave you two to get settled, okay? But I wanna hear all about it later.” And she bounds off as quickly as she came.
Or: what else can Apollo and Klavier do in this situation but pretend they're dating, really?
