Summary
“I have music,” Cas says. “I know it’s not what you generally prefer, but I read that—well. Do you mind?”
Unflappable Cas, becoming increasingly flustered. It’s almost flattering. “Did you do research?” Dean asks, unable to keep the teasing lilt out of his voice.
“I’ve never been with a human before,” Cas says, looking away. “I want you to enjoy yourself.”
“I think I’m going to do more than ‘enjoy’ myself,” Dean says, hoping the flippant tone will cover up the way his chest aches with Cas’s solemn sweetness. “Start the tunes.”

Summary
There’s small talk in between the man giving directions, though Cas’s replies start to get tense, clipped, the further he drives from the original meeting spot. He was under the impression it was going to be a couple blocks to some dark parking lot, and now it’s been miles, passing through a part of town he isn’t familiar with. Something isn’t right.

Summary
Dean's got no complaints. He's got a really cool job. He's married to a fucking amazing guy, even if Cas is an accountant. He and Cas have got a mortgage and a two-car garage, big enough for even Baby to rest her skirts. He's livin' the dream.
Too bad it's all based on one really big lie.
'Cause Dean's name isn't really Smith. He's not really a firefighter or a paramedic. He's the last thing from a hero, in fact.
And contract killers make enemies.

Summary
Parker had a theory, and her theory was this: it made Eliot really happy when they noticed the things he did for them. It made Eliot happy when they made sure he knew they noticed the things he did for them. And when Eliot thought they didn't notice, it made him- not unhappy, but something worse, something like he knew that was all he could expect from anyone and he'd resigned himself to it a while back. Once she'd noticed it, she couldn't stop, and the realization of how often they took Eliot for granted made her stomach twist uncomfortably.

Summary
When the flower shop owner sweeps his fingers through his hair, he nearly knocks the flowers tucked behind his left ear off; he spends a fussy moment readjusting them with both hands. “I don’t need to be rescued. Especially not by a stranger.”
Sheesh. Touchy.
But since Dean would have flashed fangs if anyone had thought he couldn’t take care of his own damned self, he can’t be throwing any stones. He shrugs—big and exaggerated, both hands up. "Not sayin’ you did. Look, not your fault that God put alpha brains at the base of their dicks."
The lowered blue eyes snap back to his. Flower Boy inhales with his lips parted, all pretense at not sniffing Dean out gone, and his eyes go wider.
Dean might not dress or act or look like any kind of sweet little omega, but he knows just what he smells like: really fucking inviting.

Summary
Dean's life is finally changing. After years of enduring Alastair's abuse, the alpha dies and Dean's married off to the next alpha the system pairs him with - Castiel. The man is strange and distant, but not exactly bad, and Dean's determined to be on his best behavior and not mess up the chance he was given. Soon enough, though, he fucks up anyway and has to call the alpha for help.
Castiel's lived his entire life without an omega by his side, and he was fine with that. He doesn't know how to proceed once he's suddenly married to a beautiful man who's obviously been through a lot. Omegas were always a confusing subject to him, so he tries not to interfere much - neither of them is there by their choice. But when Dean calls for help, he understands he's going to have to set some things straight and engage more.
