Mike stares—he thinks that's a bit dramatic of a response. It's not like he asked him to whip it out right there on the table.
Dustin immediately starts pounding on his back. He throws Mike a startled look.
Mike drinks his flat Coke. It's barely even fizzy—he needs something stronger. Something that will distract him from the heat wave that is currently spreading across his face.
"What the fu—" Lucas gasps, "—uck."
"Dude," Dustin gawks.
"It's just a question," Mike mumbles, rolling his plastic straw between his teeth.
