Summary
Seungmin has always felt that HeartSync™ - the matchmaking AI service everybody uses - sucks. It’s supposed to match you with your ideal partner, but it feels random and surface level. Statistically, it makes sense that it creates appropriate matches from time to time; but he’s convinced that a good deal of people are pretending to be in love with their match, so many people opting to take the ‘fake it til you make it’ approach just because an algorithm told them to.
He decides to prove his theory by seeking a date with the person HeartSync™ says he has the least amount of chemistry with. On paper, he and Chan have nothing in common: they have different jobs, interests, attractions, but when Seungmin fixes his mind on something he doesn’t let go. He’s determined. He will fall in love with Chan And better yet, Chan will fall in love with him.
