Summary
Another day, another city, another case. A case that, in anyone else's hands, would have been immediately accepted as reported: A series of bizarre, brutal, and unfortunate animal attacks. Open-and-shut, no-frills or dressings.
Which is, of course, exactly why Dana Scully found herself in the town of Meeker, Colorado, raising a skeptical brow at Mulder's insistence that the reported deaths were not only actually murders, but victims of a possible serial killer.

Summary
Five weeks ago, Mulder was brutally dumped by Diana. He’s hurt, humiliated, and determined to stay as far away possible from anything remotely resembling the X-Files.
But, he's handed a case. It's a diplomatic request from Sweden asking the FBI to review a cold case profile. It turns out to be the 1986 assassination of the Swedish Prime Minister and Mulder, being the BSU's golden boy, is supposed to just look at the profile, comment on it, and move on.
He doesn’t move on. And while he's busy not moving on, his past hunts him down.
