Summary
Rafayel swings by after work in his newly repaired sports car, offering you a much-needed joyride. You also happen to have on your person a box of chocolates your coworker gave you “to lift your spirits during your break,” whatever she meant by that. Naturally, you share them with him.
How much trouble could a few chocolates possibly cause?
(based on rafayel's "sweet overdrive" card, but you don't need to have read it to understand this.)

“There’s something going on,” he says. “A chain of robberies, not random. It’s clean, professional—in and out in under four minutes. I’ve been watching them hit warehouses all across Marmoreal. Whatever they’re after, it’s coordinated. And I can’t keep up on my own.”

“You can only stop being wrong once you’re right,” he hums, giving you a sad, innocent little smile, “isn’t that the whole point of it all? To find the person who’s right? There’s gotta be a few wrong answers here and there, don’t you think?”
“I don’t want to keep crying over the wrong answers,” you sniffle, “it’s dehydrating me.”
or: if nice guys didn’t always screw you over, you’d have an easier time trusting that phainon isn’t the good guy full of bullshit. luckily, he’s still nice enough to patiently wait for you to give him a chance, though

Summary
He saved the public of Japan from one of the most devastating incidents in the past century. He’s rough but charming. Dangerous but approachable. You just didn’t realize how much work it had taken to make him look this way. Sitting at your new desk, reading the notes left to you by the previous director, you finally figure out why it was so easy to secure this job:
Pro-Hero Dynamight is a certified PR nightmare.
(Congratulations! You got the job as PR director for the Dynamight Agency. It would be your dream job, if it wasn't for the most grating, annoying, dick-ish, kind of handsome(?), disrespectful man you've ever worked with—who's also the guy that signs your paychecks.)

Summary
Jinshi is terribly aware most people don’t love the way he does - case in point, he’s picked a single wood-sorrel when he could’ve had a blossom of every variety if he so chose. While he of course feels some male pride seeing Maomao pregnant and knowing he did that, more than anything he feels a deep love and curiosity for the child, and immeasurable appreciation for his wife. It's fascinating to know they created something that didn’t exist, and now they would be responsible for guiding it through the world. He would be a father.
So what was a good father?
Or, Jinshi's on the cusp of fatherhood, and then he's just plain in it.

Summary
“One large iced caramel macchiato with fifteen pumps of vanilla syrup, heavy whipping cream, light ice, and extra caramel drizzle, please,” he says, cheerfully.
You stare at him for a long moment. He stares back at you. Maybe. You don’t know because he’s wearing blindfolds.
“There’s a Starbucks down the street,” you finally say.
You are the co-owner of a small café in a small, eccentric district in Tokyo that is notorious for bizarre murders and supernatural occurrences.
You think you’ve seen it all, but it turns out that nothing comes close to the man wearing a bad Kakashi cosplay who terrorizes you with his increasingly complicated and awful drink orders.

Summary
“(Y/n)-san,” Kita whispers, low, just for you. Your eyes flicker nervously up to meet his, heart beating so wildly in your chest you feel like you’ll explode. Any minute now. There’ll be nothing left for him but little bits of nonsense. “I know I have no right to stop you… but please, if you’d be willing to wait, just a bit…”
Kita pulls both your hands together now, away from both your shared marks. He holds them in both of his and he gazes at you the entire time, a man truly from another era, from a lost era of things so hopeless romantic and earnest you feel like there’s nothing you can do in the very face of it. Kita brings your hands up and he presses a kiss to your knuckles, peering up at you, eyes like honey, voice soft and warm and everywhere around you.
“Would you give me the chance to show you my worth?” Kita asks.
Ah, that’s it. Your heart really can’t take anymore.
