Summary
The first time Peter Parker meets (some of) the Avengers, it's in a sewer and/or warehouse-he wasn't able to get a good look at the place, sue him for his uncertainty-after he had (apparently) gotten kidnapped.
The first time the Avengers meet Spider-Man, he's calling them jerkwads from the top of Hawkeye's roof... according to Hawkeye. In Peter's humble opinion, rooftops are communical property among vigilantes, especially during alien invasions.
OR
Seven times the Avengers were confused about Spider-Man's identity, and one time his identity was revealed.
(A story told over the course of seventeen years, seven different world-ending catastrophes, and a kidnapping.)

It all started the way it usually did; with Tony doubting his own sanity.
“Happy,” he said, turning the paper over, then turning it back, squinting at it. “What the hell is this?”
Happy barely glanced up from his phone. “How should I know? I just drive you around, I don’t try to understand your designs. You’re the one who left it in the back of the car yesterday.”
Tony turned the paper towards Happy, tapping a finger against the scribbles in the margin. “I didn’t write that. I thought it, but I didn’t write it. What sorcery is this?”
“Oh shit, sorry,” Happy said, expression resigned. “I’m guessing the kid went through them when I drove him to school this morning. He has no regard for personal boundaries.”
“The kid.”
“Um— My girlfriend, she has a—“
“Your stepson did these calculations?”
“That’s not entirely—“

“Boss… I can't find a heartbeat or respiratory rate.”
“What!” Mr. Stark nearly shrieks. His pushes Peter’s shoulder over so that he’s laying on his back and presses two fingers to his neck.
Peter notices that his hands are shaking.
“No, no, no, no.” Mr. Stark presses down harder, then pulls away like he’s been burned. Peter’s heart thumps weakly just a second after.
Keep checking my pulse, Peter screams in his head. It’s there!

“You can't use Mister Stark's four hundred dollar tequila to grow diamonds.” Ned says, more blaster fire from his end of the line.
“Diamonds which I could then use to line the repulsor systems.” Peter bites into his apple. “And then I’d always be with him.” Peter adds, “in Spirit.”
"I see what you did there,” Ned says, “and I respect the pun. And the concept. Super freaking cute man. And lame. But mostly cute."
OR Peter's broken his phone again, but luckily FRIDAY can just broadcast his chats with Ned throughout the penthouse. Too bad his spidey-sense doesn't warn him about Mister Stark's unexpected visitors. And if he ends up in Wakanda after that- well he may have found a little loophole in Tony's orders to stay home.

I can’t fail another history exam, Ned! This last one is worth 60% of our grade! If I fail this final then I’ll fail the class and if I fail the class then I’ll be kicked out of school-”
“You’re top of our year, Peter.” You can almost hear Ned’s eye roll as he talks over Peter.
“- and if I’m kicked out of school then I’ll be forced to live on the streets exchanging sexual favors for money and I can’t do that, Ned! I wouldn’t even know what to charge- I mean, what’s the street value of a blow job, Ned? Do you know? Because I sure as shit don’t.” At this point Ned is outright giggling over Peter’s theatrics.

Fun fact: some spiders have what is known as book lungs which are made up of folds that contain blood and air pockets for gas exchange. Book lungs evolved separately from our lungs and no motion of the folds is required for respiration (ie no breathing movements).
Not so fun fact: Peter has picked up a bunch of spider traits from a bite from some sort of mutant spider - and they go deeper than the surfaceThis is a peter was more spider than you thought story (you know the type).
I read a fair bit about spider anatomy last summer (for purposes unrelated to this fic) which gave me the idea for this!- Language:

Chan’s gaze swept over the scene: Jisung curled up on one side of Minho, his soft snores barely audible, and Felix tucked against the other, his head resting lightly on Minho’s shoulder. Both boys looked utterly at peace, their faces relaxed, their bodies draped loosely over Minho like he was the center of their universe.
Chan smirked, stepping further into the room and leaning casually against the doorframe. “You look so cute, Minho-yah,” he muttered, his voice soft enough not to wake the sleeping omegas but tinged with amusement.
Minho’s face burned instantly, a deep flush crawling from his ears down to his neck. He glared half-heartedly at Chan, though it lacked any real bite. “Don’t start.”

Jungkook hates Seokjin as a bodyguard. He definitely doesn't want him dating his father. (Even if they have history. Especially because they have history.)
