"Any other useful talent?" Johnny asked, not even sounding like he believed Peter had any talents outside of webslinging.
Peter scoffed. "I can recite the entirety of the Bee movie script from memory," Peter said with a deadpan stare, the corners of his mouth twitching in a failed attempt to keep a straight face. "Does that count?"
Johnny let out an actual laugh at that, his head falling forward as he chuckled.
Peter stared.

Or, Johnny’s secret tattoo goes public, Peter can’t stop thinking about it and the whole entirety of New York thinking they are dating doesn't help.

Johnny’s fire flickers with the faint wind, eyebrows pressed together and mouth turned to frown. “What are you implying?” He asks even though he has an inkling of what Spider-Man is telling him.
“I didn’t kill that man, furthermore I have no motive.” He shifts, his white emotionless eyes squinting. “It seems we have a copycat on our hands.”

In which Spider-Man has a copycat and is forced to work with the Fantastic Four to take them down. Along the way Johnny learns that there is more to the villain that meets the eye.

Johnny let himself lean in just a little. Head to Peter’s shoulder, eyes closed. Just a second. “I’m not your boyfriend anymore. You don’t have to take care of me.”
Peter’s response was immediate, grumbled under his breath like a reflex. “See? Now you’re saying dumb things. You need to be checked out.”
Johnny goes back home with Peter after the events of Uncanny Avengers #20

Johnny stretched slightly, just enough to be annoying. “You’ve caught me, Spider-Man,” he said, tone theatrical. “The intruder. The menace. The terribly attractive hostage in your bed.”
Peter blinked. “No. We’re not doing this.”
“Oh, we are,” Johnny said, eyes gleaming. “You’re the villain. I’m your helpless captive. Do your worst.”
