Summary

Summary
Jungkook was born on the sea, washed up in a bassinet on the shore in Busan, and found by a couple who adopted him and brought him back to their home in Seoul. Ever since he can remember, he has felt a pull to the water that he can’t even begin to explain with words, like his very soul is tied to the sea. He has spent his entire life visiting the ocean, drawn to the place he was born– until a tragic accident tears him from his life and his family and everything he’s ever known.
Three years after the accident, Jungkook has moved back to Busan to escape his trauma-filled past. He’s working as a bartender by night and going to the beach during the day as part of his therapy homework.
Along the way, he meets a group of six men who change his life.

Jimin squeezes his eyes shut for a second and holds his breath before he says, "I'll tell them it's a stage outfit. It is a stage outfit. I'll say something about how style is different in the future and that the concept team put me in it. I'll tell them that I hate it and then steal some of your hyungs' basketball shorts to wear until I can figure out how to go home, okay? They don't have to know."
"You don't though," comes the whisper. "You don't hate it. It's what— "
Jimin feels his arms constrict almost automatically, like he wants to pull this crying thing on his chest down into his ribs where it can't possibly be hurt by anything else. "The concept team did what I asked them to do, yeah," Jimin answers.
"So they know."
All Jimin can do is nod into his hair and say, "They know."
(Or: after falling asleep on the Like Crazy set, Jimin wakes up face to face with a very angry, freshly debuted, version of himself.)

Summary
As the tears come harder, Jungkook feels Yoongi’s hands wrap around his arms, starting to calm Jungkook down. Jungkook hadn’t even realized that he was basically hyperventilating.
“Of course I’m scared that he doesn’t want me around, Yoongi-hyung,” Jungkook says, voice now a whisper. “He never has. No one ever has, not even here. So why would it be any different now?”
Yoongi’s hands run up and down Jungkook’s arms, soothing him. “Because you’re so worthy of being loved, Jungkook-ah,” he says. “You’re so worthy of being loved.”
OR: Jungkook loses his job, moves back to the mountain he grew up on, and learns a lot about what it means to be loved.
