Summary
San is part of a traveling circus. He lives to perform and loves being on stage. San lives life to the fullest and enjoys sharing happiness to those that watch.
Wooyoung lives in a small town far from cities. He's the type to have dreams bigger than himself but is too afraid to leave, believing that moving out is like him abandoning his family.
With the circus in town, Wooyoung’s invited to attend. While wandering the circus grounds, he bumps into a performer from the circus. They talk for a bit and feel a connection but when he is called away, Wooyoung left wondering if they’d ever meet again. Much to his surprise, Wooyoung is both shocked and in awe at seeing him performing under the big top.
The two meet again throughout the circus’ time in the town. Wooyoung’s become happier than he’s ever been. In the short amount of time, he’s become friends with the other performers and started learning different aspects of living and working within a circus.
San and Wooyoung grow close and start to harbor feelings but both are aware of how different their lives are. And with their time together coming to an end, Wooyoung’s torn between wanting to leave to pursue love, and staying with his family.

Summary
When San was little, he started taking taekwondo classes at the local park. His lessons are right after the dance classes, so on days that his parents bring him in early, San likes to peek inside and see the kids dance. He takes an interest in one of the very few boy dancers, really liking how he spins.
For some reason, the classes have to take place at the same time. The gym is big enough to have the taekwondo and dance classes each take half of the space. The merge is what allows San to meet Wooyoung, the start of a lifelong friendship. From that point on they promise to go to each other's events - Wooyoung to San's competitions and San to Wooyoung's recital. They never miss each other's events until one of them is late with flowers and the most heartfelt confession.

Wooyoung's eyes stung as they shuttered open. A hot white light filtered in first, burning his pupils.
Was this heaven? Was it supposed to hurt this badly? He took a moment to assess his condition: limbs in tact, definitely not dead, and holy shit—who the hell was that guy with his hand pressed to his chest?
“No need to thank me,” the man grumbled. His voice was deep and gritty, laced with what Wooyoung immediately recognized as a heavy dose of annoyance. “Don’t look for me after this, got it? I was never here.”
