Why would he take Harry away from HQ, away from the myriad of problems that demanded his attention? Why would he think this appropriate or necessary?
Harry looked up and saw butterflies. Just a few for now. He reached for his drink and nearly knocked it over, his fingers were shaking so badly. Did Eggsy suspect? Did he know? Was this his way of redirecting Harry’s attention away from himself? He desperately searched his memory for any moment that might have tipped his hand, but he was always so, so careful. He’d never blown his cover before, was he really losing his touch? Perhaps he should consider retiring from the spy world if he couldn’t succeed as such a basic objective.
