Summary
Remus was back— not home, this place hadn’t been home in a long time— but back. Back in London and twisting his key into the sticky lock, jiggling it slightly in that ever-familiar way and forcing the door open.
He stepped inside reluctantly, dropping his luggage to the ground and collapsing onto the seat in the entryway. He pried his shoes off and sat there, in the dim hallway of his poky flat, eyeing the year-old dust covering the surfaces and wondering, painfully, how it had come to this.
***
OR: One week ago Remus saw Sirius at the Shrieking Shack for the first time in twelve years. Now, he's back in their old London flat, trying to overwrite the decade of lies he'd been made to believe, when Padfoot shows up on the doorstep. -

Summary
Sirius had been away on a mission for three days and Remus thought he might be beginning to lose his mind. He was a day away from the August full moon and all he wanted was to be lying on the sofa, Sirius at his side and a steaming cup of tea in his hand.
Instead, he was sweating through his bedsheets with flaming pain licking up his side, contemplating whether or not the need to make lunch was greater than the need to bury himself under the duvet and never move again.
Then James knocks on the door. Something's wrong.
OR: Remus and James have a heart-to-heart amidst the chaos of the war.
Part 8 of my Oh No, Love, You're Not Alone series -- but doesn't require you to have read previous parts, so works well as a one-shot.

Summary
The first thing Remus registered feeling was relief.
Sirius was alive and standing in front of him. The second feeling was a gnawing, sickening guilt because someone had died and yet right now, Remus was just so intensely glad that it hadn’t been his Sirius.
He barely had time to consider the moral implications of this line of thought before he was dropping his cane and running as fast as he could down the hallway, throwing himself at Sirius and enveloping him into a hug. He ignored the way his hip and legs sent sparks of agony throughout his body as he stood unbalanced without his cane.
He didn’t dare move. He was right where he wanted to be, home, with Sirius’ head tucked perfectly under his chin and a tress of his long dark hair curling around his thumb.
OR: Sirius comes home to Remus after a turbulent Order mission. A beach trip and deep talk ensues...
Can definitely be read standalone, or as part 7 in my series.

Summary
Remus nodded but still didn’t look up. He knew he was being unnecessarily cruel, but he couldn’t bring himself to keep up with the usual platitudes right now. The screams he was pushing down began bubbling in his chest and threatening to strangle him.
“Okay, well be safe.” Remus squeezed out the words as though it was physically painful, worse than the fiery ache travelling from his spine into the bones of his legs.
Sirius hesitated next to him a moment longer.
“Yeah, and you Remus.”
It was blunt and made Remus want to curl up into a ball. Why was he pushing him away?
Remus knew he should turn and face him. Knew he should look into those grey eyes and tell Sirius that he loved him, knew he should call him by a nickname and kiss him goodbye. Instead, he found himself selfishly wishing that Sirius would instead turn to him, tell Remus that he loved him. Neither man moved or spoke.
OR: Remus and Sirius invite their friends over for a moment of fun amidst the war, but then Dumbledore arrives bearing news of a death eater attack in Diagon Alley...
Can be read standalone but parts 1-5 of the series provide more context that might be helpful!

Summary
“Reeemus! You can’t fall asleep yet!” Sirius bounded up next to him, kissing above his eyelids to force them open. “We can’t miss the announcement!”
Remus smiled, stretching his arms with a yawn and blinking his eyes open exaggeratedly.
“I’m not falling asleep” he lied, “just resting my eyes.”
“Well you can rest them later. How ‘bout you dance with me, might wake you up.” Sirius extended a hand and Remus, after a beat, grabbed it and let himself be pulled up off the sofa.
“Well you know I can’t dance.” Remus mumbled and Sirius rolled his eyes playfully.
“Everyone can dance, Moony. Plus I’m not asking you to Charleston, just… sway with me.”
And who was Remus to say no to that offer?
OR: Remus and Sirius await news of Harry Potter’s birth and, eventually get to meet their godson! Some angst in the middle, but starts and ends with fluff!
Can be read stand-alone but works one to four of my series (Oh No, Love, You're Not Alone) give more context!

Summary
Watching Remus transform never got easier and Sirius would certainly never forget listening to those groans that turned to yells that turned into primal, animal screams.
Remus writhed on the ground, his bones snapping and reshaping themselves for minutes that felt longer than whole days. It was torturous and, Sirius reminded himself each time, it was even worse for Remus who was actually experiencing it. He was just an onlooker.
OR: Remus transforms with Padfoot for company OR, Sirius' perspective of a full moon with Moony.
Can definitely be read standalone or as part four in my series (Oh No Love, You're Not Alone.)

Summary
“You're feeling better because you’re numbing it, not because its healing.”
Remus pulled his pyjamas back up, sitting down and looking away from Sirius, busying his hands by folding loose parchment on the table. Sirius kept talking.
“Tonight’s activities might be easier than with the pack, but the transformation process isn’t going to be any different. I don’t know how to fix a dislocation and I don’t wanna mess it up.”
“I’m not asking you to fix it. I can handle it myself!” Remus knew he was being irritable but he couldn’t help it.
“Oh, please stop with this martyr act, Lu! You are allowed to let people help you!” Sirius crossed his arms over himself and Remus gulped, feeling guilty for being so rude.
OR: Remus wakes up on the day of the full-moon and prepares for his transformation with help from Sirius and Madam Pomfrey.
Can definitely be read standalone, but part one and two (You Better Hang On to Yourself & Don't Fake It, Baby, Lay the Real Thing on Me) provide more context that might be helpful.
