If Lavellan is a spirit of hope embodied, bright and all encompassing, one must wonder what it would've been like if they were around when the Evanuris first sought bodies. Elgar'nan guides them outside of the fade, if only to use them as a weapon to make himself seem less of a tyrant, and more of a benevolent creator and ruler. As Mythal weaponizes wisdom and twists it into pride, Elgar'nan seeks to turn hope into despair.
