Summary
The first time that Oscar meets Lando, he’s still a reserve driver for Alpine, practically a kitten jumping for the chance to talk to another one of his kind, especially one that he’s looked up to since forever ago. He embarrasses himself by stammering all over the place.
The second time that Oscar meets Lando, it’s before the 2023 season at the MTC, and his tail, orange and fluffy, has a mind of its own, betraying his otherwise calm demeanor. Across the table, Lando hides a little smile behind his hand while his ears flick in gentle acknowledgment, the wariness he held in regards to having another cat hybrid as his teammate melting away.
Honestly, Oscar is just happy that Lando is willing to share his territory with him.

Lando pauses to suck at his straw, and says through his teeth, “Mmhmm, with that mustache and all.” His eyes lock on Oscar’s, something sly and impish glinting in them. “Or you know, Carlos, I think could probably pick—”
Oscar's had enough. He stands up and moves toward the bed in one motion, and before Lando finishes his sentence, he's got an arm around him, hauling him up over his shoulder.

magnificent stunning amazing beautiful, i loved this. this was so good, i loved how their relationship developed not slowly but also not fast (if that makes sense), they’re both so complicated and annoying, like they both just collectively forgot about communicating with one another, but it’s alright they both figured their shit out in the end. also i really loved how service top oscar was like…he was so scrumptious.
He chases Oscar all the way back to the party, trips him, and then stands there with his hands on his knees, grinning and breathless, and winks at Oscar.
And yeah, Oscar loves him, he does. But maybe this works too.
