Summary
Darry Curtis is finally able to settle into his own life, freed from the duties of brotherhood and guardianship as his boys move on and start their own, independent lives. He settles in Florida with his wife, Laurie, ready to start a family of his own. But when Laurie's mental health takes a sharp turn in the wrong direction, things go bad quickly. He finds himself grasping for any sort of help he can get, and ends up with Tim Shepard on the other end of the phone. Tim promises to help him out, but soon it seems they've fallen back into their mixed up feelings for each other. Now, even when Darry's sure he'll leave him, it seems Tim's finally ready to give up his life of unpredictability settle with a guy he really seems to love.
