Summary
Matt’s keen eyes find him entering the hall moments after Keith, who darts off towards the servant hallways. Shiro doesn’t realise that he’s stopped – staring hopelessly after a door swinging shut – until Matt grabs his arm and guides him back towards the throne.
“Shiro, how do you explain yourself,” he hisses. “Slipping away with a servant and ignoring your suitors! Earlier, was it something that distracted you, or someone?”
Prince Shiro is entertaining guests for the choice of his betrothed but in the party spots servant Keith in the crowd and becomes infatuated.

Summary
“You were dancing for me?” Keith stutters out, and Shiro huffs at him, gently drawing him close. He’s used to having Shiro near, but now the part of him that wants to mate absolutely luxuriates in the feeling of a large arm around his back, daunting Keith with its size.
“Only you, baby.”
A cacophony erupts in Keith’s mind at those three words, and finally he permits himself to look, encouraged by Shiro’s hand on his cheek. The want in Shiro’s eyes scares him in all the right ways, but Keith needs to be sure.
“Just because,” Keith says deliberately, “we’re both going through mating season now doesn’t mean we should, you know, mate.”

"I think I might have given you the wrong impression," Wyll said, smile sheepish, "I don't, ah, expect you to do anything in return. For me."
There was silence again for a long, awkward moment. For once Astarion was glad to be dead, at least there would be no visible sign of humiliation on his face. All his life he'd been told he was good for one thing only, but the past few tendays had made it abundantly clear that maybe he wasn't good for even that much. He should be relieved that Wyll didn't want to fuck him, but instead he felt only a vertiginous uncertainty.
