Summary
Sirius Black abdicates the throne at 21 years old, leaving it all to his younger brother. Just bloody typical. Regulus following after to pick up the pieces, appease the courtiers, and if he's secretly pleased about it, well, Sirius doesn't have to know.
There is only so much time one can spend as the newly minted-king without wanting to smack every single person around them, and if this captain of the guard doesn't leave Regulus alone there will be worse consequences than a light slap. And good god above, what does he wash his hair with? He smells like a damn meadow with those stupid, wild, attractive curls of his.
Every king needs a lionheart, as that one song goes, but stubborn kings don't, and Regulus will die on that hill.

Zuko was only trying to scare him a tiny bit, honest. It just...got a little out of control. And then he started joking with him, and muttering adorably when he tripped over things, and what was he meant to do? Just go home again?

Summary
Regulus Black lives a very simple life in his middle age: it involves gardening, beekeeping, and keeping to his own devices. He has left the wizarding world behind, for good.
Which is why the letter comes as such a surprise. Worse, it's followed by a boy who seems to have stepped straight out of his long-gone memories.
Regulus has been on his own a long, long time, and in all honesty he's not sure how to cope with having another person in the house. But Harry will only be here temporarily, and a helping hand isn't so bad, really. Maybe he could get used to this.
OR: Harry shows up on Regulus' doorstep unannounced, to the shock and horror of them both. Learning how to change is not easy, but it's always easier with somebody else.

That seems to be the thing that breaks the ice between them; Bucky's never really hung out with Sam before, past being jammed into a too-small car for six hours and then two uncomfortable months in a safehouse trying not to get on each other’s last nerve. Now they’re getting lunch or coffee every few days. Sam falls asleep on Bucky’s couch three more times. Bucky joins him and Steve a couple of times on their morning run.
He doesn’t notice, is the thing; doesn’t notice how ever since Sam slept on his couch that night he’s been letting Bucky closer bit by bit, that as Bucky’s been wondering about the boundaries and structures of friendship, Sam’s been drawing in.

After a mission in Mexico goes wrong, SHIELD Agents Barnes and Rogers are given the job of hunting down the notorious Hawkeye and the Black Widow, the only problem being: no one even knows what they look like.
On the other side of the law, Clint's enjoying messing with their new SHIELD shadows, especially seeing how close he can get to Agent Barnes without him realising, but he makes the mistake of getting attached, and that makes everything more complicated.
