Alcina's daughters catch a strange creature in the catacombs, something more bug than beast, and the Duke offers to take it off their hands. Little does he realize it has designs of its own, and those designs come to include him.
And so Grimm, while hunting down the fungal god, finds himself the possession of a collector of oddities, in a world inhospitable to him. At least they both enjoy the finer things in life. The pursuit of pleasure is something Grimm understands very well. He can work with that.
Basically Grimm is an interloper in the setting of RE8, and he and the Duke fuck. A lot. We're pretending there's a plot, but it's just to facilitate more fucking.
