Foolish reads the title without comment and holds the page up to his face for closer inspection.
“Huh,” he mutters eventually.

“You want to know what’s going on?” Amity hisses, whirling to face Luz. Now that they’re face-to-face, the flustered red spreading up across Amity’s cheekbones is all too clear. “What’s going on is that we’ve been living with a grimwalker for months, and you didn’t tell us! Do you know how scary that is?”
“Woah, wait, Amity–”
But Amity keeps going, pacing back and forth without letting go of Luz’s hand. “I mean, you saw what happened earlier! You knew that he was a– a monster, something that we only ever hear about in horror stories, and you decided it was okay to not tell us? What the hell, Luz!”

Meanwhile, Hunter isn't handling the death of his palisman very well, and Camila Noceda is doing all that she can to protect her kids in a world far beyond her ability to predict and control.

"Don’t speak for her like she's dead!" Lucas snapped, voice raised and full of agitation. His nerves were well and truly frayed from the sleep deprivation, meaning that his temper had been considerably shortened. "Because she's not. She's not. She's still in there, I know it."

When visiting Max in the hospital, Lucas and Will have a long overdue heart-to-heart, soon realizing that they understand each other a lot more than they initially thought they did.
