Now that they’re face-to-face, the flustered red spreading up across Amity’s cheekbones is all too clear. “What’s going on is that we’ve been living with a grimwalker for months, and you didn’t tell us! Do you know how scary that is?”
“Woah, wait, Amity–”
But Amity keeps going, pacing back and forth without letting go of Luz’s hand. “I mean, you saw what happened earlier! You knew that he was a– a monster, something that we only ever hear about in horror stories, and you decided it was okay to not tell us? What the hell, Luz!”
