Summary
Seventeen-year-old Peter Parker is forgotten, lonely, and bone-tired. When a dimensional accident flings him into a universe where society is divided by biological castes, his body and instincts do whatever it takes to survive. Even if Peter has absolutely no idea what any of that chemical bullshit means.
Trying to be a low-profile vigilante works wonders for keeping his distance, especially from this world's Tony Stark. The problem with gravity, though, is that no matter how hard you fight it, it always ends up dragging you back to the ground.
Or: Peter copes with the trauma of his losses and a biology he doesn't understand, while the Avengers, specifically Tony Stark, try to protect a fourteen-year-old pup who absolutely refuses to be protected.

Before Mike left for school the next morning, he looked positively giddy in his new outfit and ‘masculine’ cologne. Karen almost made him pose for a picture because of how handsome he looked, but she didn’t want to risk losing the mom points she’d worked so hard to earn the night before. Karen was really starting to gain confidence in her assumption about it being for a new girl. She was vaguely aware that Mike had a little girlfriend in the past—some puppy love situation—but obviously, he had his eye on someone new now.
What threw her for a loop, however, was when Mike carefully selected one of his new outfits and spent twenty whole minutes in front of the mirror just to hang out with Will.
