Summary
In the Kingdom of Dorstic, one of the last living monarchs to exist in a post-modern world, humans are the lesser species.
Yumai, a young enslaved girl, lives under the boot of a Nobleman, until her desire for freedom supersede loyalty. Lost and injured from her escape, thrown into a world without any knowledge of it, Yumai meets a strange gunslinger that rescues her from Dorstic soldiers.
Apart of a secret group of outcasts who call themselves ‘The Revolts’, the gunslinger recruits Yumai, where there, she begins to realize how much humanity has suffered.On the contrary, Maverick, once a village boy, is held captive and forced to fight for his place amongst those who take direct orders from The Black King, and in his journey, meets a boy with just as much spirit as him. To secure his place besides the throne, loyalty to his kingdom supersedes freedom, and Maverick won’t falter until every last Revolt is crushed in his palm.
