Kaveh smiles up at the stranger. "Sorry, he's right! I am taken. By him. But he doesn't know it yet."
What.
"Wait, what did you mean by that?" Al-Haitham asks faintly.
"Oh, that?" Kaveh scoffs. "You're a little dense. Obviously, I meant exactly what I said. I wouldn't want to be kept by anybody but you."
"But we are—" Al-Haitham trips over his words, trailing behind Kaveh as he walks purposefully through the city. "We aren't. Together. Neither of us has confirmed anything of the sort."
Kaveh gives him a derisory look. "And what, we don't act like it? Some things don't have to be put into words to be understood. Ah, I forgot. Haravatat. You probably wouldn't accept anything else any other way."
"It is not logical to make assumptions without empirical evidence."
"You scholarly types," Kaveh mutters. "Always so particular."
So. Al-Haitham is in love with Kaveh. This has got to be somebody's fault.
Cue the five stages of grief.

Summary
Xingqiu can almost imagine it: him and Chongyun, gazing before a colossal fish tank in a dimly lit room. Their faces will be illuminated only by the light from the tank.
The other boy will shuffle close enough that their hands brush together. He will shyly inch his hand toward Xingqiu’s, a terrible blush on his face.
And Xingqiu will merely smile as he holds Chongyun’s cold, clammy hand. They’ll stare at the fish and coral until their feet start to ache. Xingqiu’s stomach will be doing those strange somersaults that only happen to the main lead in romance novels.
Then Chongyun will bite his tongue twice before stammering out his confession, and Xingqiu will accept it and proudly admit his own mutual feelings, and they’ll share one good movie kiss. And afterwards he’ll text Hu Tao that she lost the bet and that she owes Xingqiu so much money.
Or, Xingqiu and Chongyun go on an aquarium date. Their friends are very tired of them.

Well, Santa isn't, but SANTA is: by that, An means the Specialised Allocation of NocTurnal (they're stretching it here) Apportionment. SANTA is a company that has existed for thousands of years, having survived the most drastic of economic hurdles. As a proud employee, An feels that at least some of SANTA's success can be attributed to her work in finance and investment.
But there are many more interesting parts of her job that don't pertain to her actual job: for example, her phenomenal office chair, or her talent for making break room coffee, or the fact that she's in love with her coworker Azusawa Kohane from HR.

There isn’t a single thing Toya has ever liked about his own hands, not when their only purpose is to remind Toya of how much of his life he’s already wasted and how much he’ll continue to waste.
Well, there wasn’t a single thing he liked about them until now.

Has the world always been spinning this quickly?
Kohane is so overwhelmed that her words fly away. Her eyelids are so unbearably heavy that she considers letting them close. If she were to just shut her eyes…
An is very much a wife guy. Kohane learns this the hard way, which happens to be shifting through the dimensions of time and reality themselves to find out just how much of a wife guy An really is.

There’s another static noise. “Please don’t flirt over the intercom,” Touya says.
Even after exploring every corner of the universe, Kohane's favourite space is still the lack of one between her hand and An's.
