Now it feels like there are echoes of Genos in the very walls. Like all the air’s been knocked out of Saitama’s life. His dinners taste bland, and the TV isn’t funny, anymore, and he spends a bit too much time lying and staring at the ceiling, the silence in his head just growing and growing.

Jean Kirschtein is a popular, athletic, and openly bi-sexual highschool punk who's used to getting what he wants with little to no effort.
Marco Bodt is a generally soft-spoken teen whose pastel style tends to paint him as an image of innocence.
So when a friend bets Jean that he couldn't get a boyfriend and KEEP that boyfriend till the end of the semester, Jean is confident that he can have Marco wrapped around his finger in no time at all. What he didn't expect, however, was to find out that Pretty in Pastel Marco isn't nearly as innocent, nor as ignorant, as Jean had assumed. Marco's got a plan of his own, and if Jean wants to keep him, Jean's going to have to work for it (and suffer hundreds of cold showers in the meantime). Damn that sweet freckled tease!

Jean is a cynical asshole who has no friends, needs no one, and doesn't believe in love in any shape or form. Well, he has one friend, and he knows nothing about Jean's life. It's a good setting, enough for Jean. After all, he shamelessly takes his clothes off and dances for money (and if you pay enough, he'll do pretty much anything), and it doesn't exactly make a great conversation starter. "Hi, my name is Jean and I'm a stripper slash prostitute. I'm also pretty darn gay." Everything's good and nothing hurts until one day Jean is hired for a birthday party. A birthday party that consists of one person: Marco. As it turns out, it's just a big prank to embarrass Marco, since none of his friends actually know he's gay.
Marco is a blushing virgin (so Jean seems to think), as naïve and sweet as they come, and my god Jean can't stand it. But Marco is hypnotized by the younger guy, completely oblivious to Jean's snarky sarcasm and misanthropic view of the world. Hell, he's ready to pay good money just to see Jean.
