The beginning was a little rough ngl, dub-con bordering on non-con with the initial claiming of Kagome.
It only works because Sesshomaru is a demon and his reasoning for doing things makes sense within the context of this universe with yokai and reiki and ancient powers. But irl if a man spouted the nonsense he did about breaking a woman down and making her kneel so he can rebuild her, I'd be calling the police because he sounds like a wannabe Dom dressing up his fetish for abusing women as his sexual kink.
Once it gets passed the initial two step claiming and making of the heir it gets better.

Shippo does the math: if Rin is human and his mom is human, that means they should have playdates. Easy. Kagome does the math: if Rin is his daughter, she’s in so much trouble.
