Seonghwa’s problem doesn’t lie in difficulty to come up with a proper idea, but having a crystal clear one.
Which she supposes is how she ends up standing in the hallway outside of Hongjoong’s studio late, late into the night. They’re late on a deadline, too. Hongjoong should have at least started on the song at this point.

He’s sitting on the floor of the dance practice room, not feeling in the mood to go back to the dorm. He knows that if he goes back there, Seonghwa will be there, and they’ll sit in charged silence, unsure of whether one of them should say something or not. He doesn’t hate him. He doesn’t even dislike him.
However, there is this air about Seonghwa that he likes fixing people, and Hongjoong knows that there is no one out there more in need of fixing.

“Sorry I'm late. I had to look my best,” A familiar voice hums from behind him, and his head whips to meet it. First thing he notices: what she said was true. She looks fantastic.
It makes an ugly jealous feeling brew in his stomach, and he tries to push it down. When they make eye contact, she flashes him a knowing look, as if daring him to say something.
“Glad you could make it,” She says, like she wasn’t the one who was extremely late. “I like your makeup.” When she speaks, her red lipstick makes her smirk look all the more devilish.
“Thanks.” He responds simply, finding himself once again left speechless by her presence.
