Seonghwa’s problem doesn’t lie in difficulty to come up with a proper idea, but having a crystal clear one.
Which she supposes is how she ends up standing in the hallway outside of Hongjoong’s studio late, late into the night. They’re late on a deadline, too. Hongjoong should have at least started on the song at this point.

He’s sitting on the floor of the dance practice room, not feeling in the mood to go back to the dorm. He knows that if he goes back there, Seonghwa will be there, and they’ll sit in charged silence, unsure of whether one of them should say something or not. He doesn’t hate him. He doesn’t even dislike him.
However, there is this air about Seonghwa that he likes fixing people, and Hongjoong knows that there is no one out there more in need of fixing.

“… can I at least ask what you’re doing?” The custodian asked. Hongjoong yanked at the staple, the small metal piece making a tiny nick on his finger for the efforts, but the mistletoe came free. Hongjoong stepped off the chair and picked it up again, glancing at the stacks where he got it from, but then settling his gaze on the custodian.
“Making questionable decisions that could cost me my job,” Hongjoong replied cryptically, holding the chair out. The confused and concerned custodian took the chair hesitantly, and Hongjoong was making his way back to the elevator.
