not sure if i have already bookmarked this, but it truly was one of the best fanfics i have ever read in my life, i have reread it around 8 times and the only way i can describe is: gut wrenchingly beautiful. the characterization for everyone is spot on, at least for me because it was exactly how i imagined it in my head, especially megumi because as someone who relates a lot to him, his characterization here resonated with me so deeply sometimes i had to put the fic down for a few days and then continue it because it got a little too much. and every time i finish it it takes me at least a week to nurse myself back to health from the arguably worst fic hangover ever. 1000000/10

Right after Boiling Rock, Zuko found Sokka sprawled in his tent with a bouquet of red roses, and a ring of romantic candles, and one final rose set between his teeth. With the littlest twinge of envy, Zuko realized the entire display was for Suki.
The point is Sokka's flirting is about as subtle as a buffalo yak. To miss it, you’d have to be a complete and utter airhead.

“Alright,” Sokka says, watching as he walks out without another word, evidently having reverted back into his usual brooding self. “Have fun!” He calls after Zuko loudly, which he means to be sarcastic, but comes out painfully, embarrassingly sincere. His face burns, and as soon as Zuko passes out of sight into the the temple, Katara turns to him, leveling him with a Look.
“You like him.” She says, and it’s not a question.
