He doesn't quite fit into his body, keeps expecting to see his eyes flash white in the mirror and maybe it's just his imagination but his eyesight is still a tiny bit sharper than it was before. His teeth don't feel like they belong in his mouth, a little like they do right after a cleaning, and he keeps running his tongue across them trying to feel a sharpness that may or may not still be there. But no matter how often he mentally checks for the symbiote, he can't feel anything, only negative space that he never used to notice.
Yet another take on the whole "how they got back together" missing scene at the end. Eddie does a lot of introspection (read: emotional breakdown) and things, somehow, work out eventually (read: get pretty gay).
