Well, obviously, everyone is different, but his difference is not common knowledge. It wasn’t knowledge at all, actually, until he was about seventeen. It’s still not a difference he’s really comfortable with, but he lives. Breathes, walks, sings - lacks a vital human emotion. As you do.
But, well, Jeongin can’t hide, not much longer. Certainly not surrounded by people who are more tuned into his emotions than they are their own. Especially when a few of them have already pierced his skin, held his gaze for just a second and laid his soul bare. They will know. And then what?

Summary
“Look, we don't have to if you don't want to. I remember what you said the last time we saw each other. I can walk myself back home right now, just say the word,” Jisung says, worrying his lower lip between his teeth. A nervous tick, Minho notes.
He considers it for a moment – sending Jisung home – but then he would have gained nothing from all of this. But he also doesn't want to lead the guy on.
“You should know I wear hearing aids,” Minho blurts, an attempt to sabotage. This is the part where Jisung will realize Minho isn't worth it. He’ll walk away, Minho is sure of it.
"I know. Chan-hyung told me,” Jisung says, “I don't care about that– or well, I do, but– you make it sound like it’s a dealbreaker–”
“Because it is.”
“It's not.”
Jisung's words kill Minho’s argument, leaving Minho staring at him in shock, his mouth hanging open.

Summary
"Seung-" Jisung tries but Seungmin ignores him, moving forward to hook an arm under Minho's armpit. Every area of contact burns, makes him feel disgusting and unwanted. Brings bile to the back of his throat.
"Jisung, he is drunk and the Uber is waiting, we should help him inside." He tells Jisung
"I don't want them, Sung. I don't want my soulmate." Minho tells Jisung.
Jisung watches him horrified, struggling between reaching out to either help Minho or comfort Seungmin.
"Min, this is all a-" Jisung starts but then Minho makes the decision for all of them by turning his face and emptying his guts on the alley floor.

“Why didn't you tell me?” Jisung asks softly.
“That my marriage was falling apart?” Minho speaks so glibly, like it’s no big deal; like he’s talking about bad weather or heavy traffic.
Jisung groans, a little annoyed that this is how his concern is being met; but then he pulls back and considers—this is just how Minho is. How Minho always has been. He doesn’t like when people fuss over him, and he prefers keeping his problems to himself. Back in the day, Jisung knew how to penetrate his walls; he wants to think that he still does.
“Who wants to talk about a failing marriage, Jisung-ah?” Minho sighs. “We hardly see each other as it is—I’d rather have fun when we meet up. Wouldn’t you?”
in which: Jisung and Minho reconnect after Minho ends his marriage, and long buried memories, feelings, emotions, come bubbling up to the surface.
